Greetings from Suck Creek Baptist Church,

It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Pastor of Suck Creek Baptist Church, for this expanse of forty-four years. This beloved church is located just seven miles from the city limits of Gaffney, South Carolina and can be accessed by taking and enjoying a beautiful, scenic ride to the rural area. At SCBC, we strive to be a church that has and exhibits a genuine love for the other. We are a place where our devotion for God still develops and grows deeper, because we exist to keep Him at the heart of everything we do. We are grateful that both His love and mercy abides with us.

We are a church, in the Cherokee Creek Community, that believes in Hebrews 11:1 (KJV), “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” We are eager to watch how God will guide us into, yet, another FAITH realm towards our theme – “W.I.N.”, for these next five years. We are willing and believing that members, even the more, will continue to support, encourage and uplift one another, as God gives us the power and the strength to move forward in His name, this age and time.

As a church, we believe in the Bible, God’s Holy Word and the power and authority this same Word has over every believer’s life. We are excited, too, that our faith has grown through instruction and learning...learning and instruction. Classes such as “Return to Me”, “God’s Covenant”, “SALT”, “How to Read and Study the Bible”, “Spiritual Gifts”, “Who Moved My Cheese?”; Leadership Classes for all leaders – “Rainbow of Splendor”, “Building the Community”, “Winning Souls for Kingdom Building’, “Experiencing God”, “The Purpose Driven Life” and “Tithes and Offering”.
